That’s why we’re looking for an experienced Solar Electrician who thrives in a dynamic environment, takes initiative, and genuinely cares about quality workmanship.
What You’ll Do
- Install, maintain, and repair solar PV systems for residential and commercial clients
- Wire and connect inverters, battery storage systems, and grid connections
- Commission and test systems for optimal safety and performance
- Troubleshoot faults and ensure every system runs like clockwork
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to deliver quality projects on time
- Work with a team of roofers and electricians to carry out installations safely and efficiently
- Use mobile apps for testing, documentation, and real-time back-office communication
- Travel directly to sites from your home — van and fuel card provided
- Manage and maintain vehicle stock for efficient job delivery
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- 18th Edition Qualified Electrician
- 2391 (or equivalent) in Inspection & Testing
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Confident with electrical installs, earthing, LAN/Wi-Fi setups
- Comfortable working at height
- Access NI (or willing to obtain)
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset — you don’t wait to be told what to do
Desirable:
- Solar PV Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
- EV Charger Level 3 course (or equivalent)
- Certification in Battery Storage Installation
- 2+ years of hands-on solar experience
- MEWP, PASMA, or Telehandler certification
- Familiar with CRMs (e.g., Salesforce)
